How nosy is too nosy?

If your significant other happens to leave his/her phone around do you go through it? I'm going to tell you from personal experience that it would be so much easier to just ask him/her to see their phone. Once you do something like that behind their back, either they won't trust you or you won't trust them. So take my advice and just ASK!
